Lisa Dorn

Twenty years ago I earned my associates degree in graphic design from Portland Community College. Because I love designing so much I went back to school and earned my Bachelors of Arts from Portland State University in 2019.

After graduating University, I interned with Murmur Creative and then went on to freelance for them. While working with Murmur Creative I have sought out other roles with agencies allowing me to work in a variety of fields and design roles gaining insight and experience.

I really enjoy the variety that freelance graphic design provides me. I love working with new people and learning new processes. I thrive on new challenges and working out design solutions. One super power I have is the ability to listen. Often times my clients say what they like about me is that I listen to what they are saying and am able to take their words and put them into a visual construct. Being able to translate what my client is asking for into a visual information brings me great satisfaction.

When I am not working on design projects, I am spending time with my rescue dog, Nova, exploring trails and taking photos.
