Logo and Branding for a small bookkeeping company
Beans PDX Bookkeeping offers bookkeeping and consultations to small business. Amy wanted her logo to reflect who she is as a person as well as her company. I did this by creating a crisp, stylized logo of a local bridge that doubles as a “bean counter”. To add in warmth, I opted to use a round slab serif font in all lower case.
Amy is a well organized, put-together person, but she is also fun, playful and has a very warm disposition. For these reasons, I chose imagery that has a sense of whimsy and is also very functional.
I created a series of patterns to add some textures and visual interest for the brand. These patterns are inspired by math and balance, as bookkeeping is all about.
